Rickilee Response and Rescue (Triple  R Response) is a 501c3 charitable organization originating in Houston, Texas inspired to honor Rickilee Mercer by funding a well equipped and trained volunteer based emergency response on Ambergris Caye.

 

Our Mission

Our mission is to assist the island of Ambergris Caye, Belize in implementing a volunteer based emergency response system that coordinates both American and community resources to help protect human life.

pHASE oNE - Complete

Our first phase was focused on Water Response. Our goal to unite the skills of local and expat residents to rapidly and efficiently  respond on a volunteer basis to water emergencies has been successful preventing the tragic loss of life.

pHASE two - Complete

Phase 2 consists of response to medical emergencies for locals and expats with a transport vehicle to transfer persons in need to the proper medical facility including air transfer to Belize City. Air Evac to Miami is arranged when required or desired.

  • Begin with simple training (CPR, First Aid, water rescue) for volunteers

  • Implement a simple communication system to be built upon

  • Identify necessary equipment and provide

  • Utilize the skills and knowledge of the residents to design procedures

  • Assist with implementation of procedures for response

  • Assist and train for implementation of water search and rescue procedures
